Moutaz Mashhour
Chief Human Resources Officer
Moutaz is the Chief HR Officer of Neo Space Group (NSG). He brings a broad range of knowledge and expertise to his position through a long career in human resources and several other senior management roles in some of the biggest start-up projects in Saudi Arabia.
Before joining NSG, he was Executive Vice President of Corporate Services at the industrialization and energy services company, TAQA, where he was responsible for developing and launching the business’s shared services function.
Moutaz was formerly the Chief Human Officer at the Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare Center, where he led and managed the complex merger and transition of thousands of healthcare professionals. Before that, he held the role of Industrial Relations Vice President at the Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining Company (YASREF) during which he oversaw the formation of the human resources, supply chain, safety, and industrial security and support services operation for the giant full conversion refinery.
This is in addition to holding a position as Vice President of Industrial Relations at Aramco Services Company in Houston, Texas as well as being part of the founding leadership team of the King Abdullah University for Science and Technology as the Interim Vice President of Human Resources. There, he led the establishment of the human resources infrastructure for one of the Kingdom’s biggest start-up projects.
Moutaz holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial management and a master’s degree in business administration from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dharan Saudi Arabia. He was involved in several leadership and executive development programs from Columbia, Rice, and Georgetown Universities in the USA. He has completed the University of Minnesota's HR Certification and is a certified Performance Improvement Consultant from the International Society for Performance Improvement, USA.
